It is empowering to feel clarity and excitement about experiencing what you want in life. When you feel that you know what you want, and you’ve taken the necessary inspired action to materialize it, chances are you feel pretty good inside.
It certainly appears to me that at the heart of the matter what everybody is searching for is happiness and inner peace. These two can only come from the inside out, and they are companions of love.
Not the Hollywood version of love, or the dysfunctional/co-dependent "I can't live without you" kind of love. I'm referring to the kind of love that is the rock of power, the Love that come from your core, your Spirit and it never fails.
As long as you stay distracted by externals, via the media or by looking for love in all the wrong places, you will never find the inner peace and power that is your birthright and is waiting for you to turn within. As long as you do not go within, you will go with out (external) and you will live without the sense of empowerment that is deep down inside, that you sense is possible.
Happiness is not a person place or thing.
It is a quality of BEING. If you did not believe it was possible, there would be no reason to reach for something better. Granted, sadly there are those who are ready to give up on life, but this too is a choice. I’ve notices that a part of the problem certainly is that most people focus on what they do not want and rarely are clear about what they do want.
They can tell you what they are worried about – the economy, bills, foreclosures, disease – but if you ask what is their purpose or what would they just love to do, the general response is too often the “deer in the headlight” stare.
This is because overall, we are conditioned to focus on fear, on what we don’t want instead of what we do want. This is a dangerous pattern as what you focus on expands. The mental images you focus on in your mind with feelings, whether positive emotion or negative, has a very high likelihood of manifesting in your life. As Albert Einstein said:
“Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions” ~Albert Einstein
Want something different? Want to start feeling empowered instead of feeling like a hapless victim of the universe? One place to start is to start imagining what you want and build it up with positive feelings to a level of actual expectation, and you will be amazed at how your body starts to move you in the direction of your dreams.
If nothing else, you will do your blood pressure a favor by spending your time focusing on pleasant images instead of ruminating over things that scare the heck out of you. Worry and chronic negative emotions are hazardous to your health. Want to find happiness? Look inside.
Empowerment all starts with a new thought!
